Art of the State 2022

Art of the State 2022 continues the legacy as a juried exhibition showing off the powerful scope of contemporary art from across the state. This open call open to all Colorado artists garnered 2,067 submissions by 734 artists. From those entries, 149 artworks by 142 artists were selected, including, “Concrescence” by Lui Ferreyra.

Art Can Residency

The Art Can is a two-week residency coordinated by the Ramble Hotel. The pop-up style gallery is designed to expose the vibrant RiNo masses to various artists during the warmer seasons. Art Can is open to the public Friday and Saturday nights from 4-9 p.m. Lui Ferreyra will be in attendance from Aug 25 through Sep 7.

2020 Art Exhibition at William Havu Gallery

New Worlds opens January 17th at William Havu Gallery (1040 Cherokee St, Denver CO), from 6-9pm. The exhibition will feature nine new works by the artist which will run through February 29th, 2020.

Lui Ferreyra will be exhibiting his new body of work entitled Sum Ergo Sum at William Havu Gallery (1040 Cherokee St, 80204). The opening reception is Friday, June 24, from 6-9pm. Show runs from June 24 – August 20.

Art of the State 2016

Lui Ferreyra’s Idioma 7 has been selected to form part of the 2nd iteration of the critically acclaimed Art of the State– “a juried exhibition showcasing the quality, depth, and diversity of Colorado artists.” Opening reception: Thursday, January 21, 2016, 6-9pm at the Arvada Center for the Arts.

The Arvada Center for the Arts presents Lui Ferreyra: Means of Approach, April 10 through May 10. The opening reception is Friday April 10, from 6 to 9pm. The exhibition is in the Upper Gallery and will feature 15 works, including four live drawing sessions throughout the course of the exhibition. Please visit arvadacenter.org for more details. Additionally, an artist talk for Means of Approach will take place on Saturday, May 2nd at 11am (Free Admission).

Best of Colorado at DIA

Ferreyra’s Bardos 1 chosen for “Best of Colorado” exhibition at Denver International Airport. As the City prepares for the international spotlight on the Denver Art Museum’s new Frederick C. Hamilton Building opening October 7, 2006, DIA is showcasing 75 of Colorado’s top artists for display during these heavy travel months. The exhibition runs from August 2006 through January 2007 in the Jeppeson Terminal.
